This page is for the Mayfield Lake reservoir and Beach Road country—not the same as every “Mossyrock” address. We grade driveways, trench utilities, and excavate septic on bluff, bench, and shoreline-adjacent lots.
Mayfield Lake is a Cowlitz River reservoir behind Mayfield Dam, operated for power and public recreation. WDFW places the lake roughly three miles west of Mossyrock—close enough that mail and conversation blur “Mossyrock” and “Mayfield,” but driveway pitch, stormwater, and septic soils on a bluff above the pool are not the same as a flat in-town lot. Bloomstrom Construction focuses on dirt work: culverts, rock, trenching, clearing, and septic excavation tied to your permits.
Driveways, trenches, and septic-related excavation for lake-country properties in west Lewis County.
Steep approaches to the water often need segmented grading and careful spoils handling.
Public recreation includes Mayfield Lake Park (Tacoma Power) off Beach Road, Ike Kinswa State Park, and other launches. Owners along feeder roads often juggle weekend boat traffic, narrow easements, and power drops down long slopes. We talk through staging before promising a one-day job that needs three.
Search engines and neighbors both conflate place names. If your tax address says Mossyrock but your gate is off a Beach Road spur overlooking Mayfield, you care about bluff drainage and trailer swing more than downtown street frontage. This copy reflects that difference; our crew still rolls from the same east Lewis County base as the rest of our Highway 12 work.
